Marshall University hosts cybersecurity event for students
HUNTINGTON, WV (WOWK) – Marshall University students are getting some expert advice in the world of cybersecurity.
The university is hosting a “CyberCon” event at the Memorial Student Center. The event began Wednesday morning and runs through Friday afternoon.
CyberCon gives students a chance to explore the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity. Experts are holding panels to discuss decision-making and risk management and to give insight on what strategies and responsibilities will be needed to manage cybersecurity on an executive level.
Professionals and companies are also hosting a career fair for students at the event.
